Webinar: Wheelchair Sports in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Wheelchair Sports Foundation organized its second webinar 'Wheelchair Sports in Bangladesh' on 12th October 2020 at BD time 7:00 pm. The guest of the webinar was Development Liason to Asia of International Wheelchair Rugby Federation (IWRF), Head of Sports for Development and Sports for Hope and Independence (SHI), Pappu Lal Modak. The webinar was very informative regarding the current condition of wheelchair sports in Bangladesh and the international position of wheelchair sports. In the webinar, he discussed how he got inspired to work with wheelchair users and entered the world of wheelchair sports, how to engage female wheelchair users more in wheelchair based games. His experience of working with wheelchair users and what problems they face. He also talked about what should be adopted from foreign countries in Bangladesh’s wheelchair sports development process to further excel.
